Jack is growing up way too fast and is getting way too cute. A few weeks ago we were making crowns and were talking about being children of God. (Idea from the Friend magazine.) He told me, without any prompting, "Grandma Wright child of God." We had to call her to make sure that was true. Indeed, she thinks she is one too. Now everytime we see the crown or sing 'I'm A Child of God', Jack tells me that Grandma Wright is a child of God. It is too funny.
Jack has been blowing us away with his prayers lately. He is really good. Jack always starts his prayers, "Heav' Father, thank you gan'pa sparks, popcorn, ice cream gan'pa sparks house." And he always prayers for the Sparks grandparents and the Wright grandparents. We have to prompt him to thank Heavenly Father for other family members, ie. US, but you can tell his heart isn't in it. :) He just LOVES his granparents. Bill was sick yesterday and Jack wanted to say a prayer for Grandpa Sparks to help him feel better. A few hours later he was positive that Grandpa felt better because he prayed for him. (And consequently could go up and play there.) Ah, that boy. He is so tender hearted and it melts my heart and brings a tear to my eyes.

It is amazing how much they can comprehend at a small age. I love these tender moments. Jack does have a tender heart. It reassures you that you are teaching your kids right principles. You're such a good mommy!
