Well Hello, Hello

Is it the middle of July already? It has gone by crazy fast.

Two weeks ago we were in the Tetons for my week long family reunion. There were about 60 people there, with only one cousin and my sister and her family not there. It was really great to see and talk with so many family members. We hiked, kayaked, boated, danced, found treasure, showed off our talents, saw and ate with singing cowboys, watched movies (cousin Glen's short film Pajama Gladiator that has won Acadamy Awards and Oscars) outside projected on a sheet, decorated cupcakes, rode horses, rode bikes, threw rocks in the lake, got sick, ate pinecones (okay, only Sage), teased eachother for wearing inappropriate swim suits (cousin Trevor was really brave), were eaten by mosquitoes, some of us (well, only one) birthed babies, and we all talked until our faces turned blue. I brought my camera but didn't take any photos. So I'm counting on everyone to share!

Jack still asks every time we are getting in the car and going somewhere if we are going back to Colter Bay. He LOVED being there and formed a little bond with his cousin Simon. I think everyone LOVED Jack too, his little cowboy boots, being a Koala pirate, and looking like Daniel Boone. But mostly he just keeps on telling us that he wants a dog. We already have one. But, no, he wants a small one that he can walk around on a leash.

Sage on the other hand could not be happier to be home. We left a 1/2 day early because she was having such a hard time. She spent the nights waking every 1/2 hr and was SCREAMING. The Friday night she screamed 1 1/2 hrs straight during one episode (not including the other episodes she had that night.) That was it. Joel packed us up single handedly. We drove straight through and got hom 2 in the morning on Sunday. She has been sleeping like an angel.

I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. Happy to be back, but sure loved being with my family.
