As before mentioned, Jack got a bunch of real tools for his birthday. I gave him some scrap wood with some pilot holes and a bunch of nails and screws. This is one of his creations that he made and gave to Joel for Joel's birthday. It is pretty great. The only problem is that we have to make a conscious effort to use it. We usually just keep our keys in the car so we have to remember to bring them in and out. Jack is so proud when he makes something useful. Gotta love it!

awesome!!! good job jack. So, I don't want to freak you out - only encourage you to bring your keys in. My nieces/nephews live in a place similar to irrigon/boardman area. They live out in they country and always left their keys in their car 4-ever - no problems. Yeah, until someone stole their car and went joy riding to the county fair! True story. Use the key holder! :) Especially now that you have broadcasted to the world that you keep your keys in your car!!

That is so cute! What a little man Jack is. While the rest of the boys his age are playing with the plastic tools, he's making real stuff!
