My Sage is a heartbreaker.  She is so full of personality and spunk and has to be to cutest toddler in all of history.  Seriously, she’s absolutely adorable.

Hmmmm – what to say about Sage…

Sage goes through at least 7 outfits a day.  Sometimes it is wet.  Sometimes it is dirty.  Sometimes she doesn’t even know why.  And it is not just clothes.  We take 10 mins to put on a pair of lace-up shoes, and then we get out the door and find a pair of sandals by the door that she wants to put on instead.  Then we finally get to the car to go somewhere and there is another pair that she took off the other day and she wants to put those on instead before we can get driving.  It is hard if we are in a hurry to get somewhere…

Someone gave Sage a bunch of old, obviously loved and abused sorry looking, naked dolls.  There is a big baby that is her favorite.  A previous owner obviously went at it with scissors.  Oddly enough, they look a lot a like.  The baby has to be naked.  Sage loves to sleep with it, carry it around in a blanket, give it baths, read to it, and we have spent many a times nursing our babies together  :)

Sage is also really good to Charly.  She LOVES to be in the baby’s face to hug her, kiss her, and make her smile.  When Charlotte kisses back, Sage just looks at me and says, “That slobbery.”

Sage is really smart – it surprises me sometimes.  She just breaks out with stuff without us ever really sitting down and teaching her.  She’s a sponge.  She knows for sure how to count items up to three.  She can recognize her letter S.  She is pretty good about colors and knows a few shapes.  I don’t remember Jack knowing so much at just turned 2.

Sage always pats you on the back when you hug her, especially when she is crying and you are trying to comfort her.  It makes me laugh because my mom is the queen of patting your back in a way to signify that your hug is done – I guess it is a genetic thing :)

Sage likes to hit me and then say “dead”.  And then she likes to cut off my ears or fingers or arms and then eat them.  When she is done she spits my body pieces back out and puts them back on and tell me it is “Wake up time!”

Sage likes to play the piano and have me sing primary songs.  She plays with one hand and conducts with the other.  She is pretty particular about what song she wants you to sing too.

Like I said before, she is absolutely adorable.  I cannot get enough of her, well, except when it is bedtime and she is tired – she can be a bit dramatic.  :)  LOVE YOU SAGEBRUSH!!

I'm so glad that Sage has inherited something from her Grandmother! She is wonderful!
