Woohoo!! Kitchen curtain #2 is hung! And, I might add, that it totally hangs and fits perfectly! Only 2 more for the kitchen....
My job is to make the curtain and Joel hangs them. Lets just say that hanging them is not a very fun family activity. So after a tense morning the curtain was hanging with both of us happy. Then it was time to do the final screwing in. Joel screwed it, took a step back - it was several inches too short!! It turns out the curtain was wrapped around the board and this was the result:
Yes, that is a screw hole you see, dead center on top! After our tense adjustments for it to be just so! We both laughed. From a distance you can't see it, but with the light shining through it totally shows. It is pretty funny. Yeah, there is so no way I'm making this curtain again, at least not in the next 5 years. So we are going with it. Too funny...
